Breda’s goal when she joined the team in Muckross Park Hotel & Spa in 2012, as Accommodation Manager, was to drive five-star standards throughout the hotel. Taking over the position, Breda has secured five gold medal awards from the Irish Accommodation Services Institute and two ‘Overall Supreme Awards for Accommodation Standards’. Breda’s role within the hotel is diverse, taking a lead in the Health & Safety aspect of the hotel. Breda was appointed Rooms Division Manager in December 2019.
Breda grew up locally in Glencar at the foot of the MacGillycuddy’s Reeks. She has worked in hospitality since completing her Leaving Certificate. Securing several certificates, Breda has successfully completed courses in Management, Equality and Dignity at Work along with Revenue Managment and CRM.
When she’s not leading her team to the award stage, she can be found hiking Carrauntouhil, cycling or spending time with her husband and two daughters.
