Things to know before you go

I have booked an apartment, what does this include?

Self-catering includes a 2 bedroom apartment and the facilities to prepare your own meals. You may dine in the hotel for breakfast, lunch or dinner at an additional cost.

Where do I check-in?

Please go to the reception desk, located in the main hotel, for check-in. Our concierge team will happily assist with any luggage. Please be advised that check in is at 4pm and check out is at 11am.

Can I use The Spa at Muckross during my stay?

All adult guests over the age of 18 have complimentary access to The Spa at Muckross. Children under 16 are strictly prohibited in the Vitality Suite & Pool area. Please note that over 16’s need to be accompanied by an adult guest at all times.

Is there Wi-Fi and car parking?

Yes, we provide complimentary Wi-Fi and car parking across Muckross Park Hotel & Spa.

Is there 24-hour reception or what happens if I arrive late in the evening?

The reception desk is open 24 hours a day, so guests can arrive at their own leisure.

Is everything supplied in our apartment such as bed linen and kitchen utensils?

The apartments have all essential items supplied including bed linen, towels and full kitchen equipment including cutlery, glasses, pots, pans, cooking implements and even a cork screw!

Are there any extra costs with the apartment such as water charges, electricity or parking costs?

There are no additional charges as all utilities are included. Any additional cost items are at the discretion of the guest.

How many guests can stay in an apartment?

For health and safety reasons, we are only allowed to cater for a maximum of 5 guests per apartment.

How often are the apartments serviced or cleaned?

Apartments are serviced every 4 days.

Are pets permitted to stay in the apartments?

Small pets are permitted to stay in the apartments. To guarantee pet friendly accommodation, this needs to be pre booked in advance.

We are travelling with a baby, are cots supplied?

Yes, a Baby cot can be provided on a complimentary basis. Please notify us in advance.

Are there lifts in the apartments?

No, there are staircases between each floor. We are happy to assist with luggage or moving anything heavy or large for you.

Is there somewhere we can do laundry?

We offer a same day laundry service at an external launderette for an additional cost. Laundry can be collected in the morning from your apartment and will be returned that evening.
