We offer our discerning clients eight very different meeting rooms ranging from contemporary to traditional style. We have something to suit everyone and can accommodate up to 350 delegates offering a wide range of adaptable room layout styles to perfectly suit your business needs.
At Muckross Park Hotel we have two main plenary conference rooms, The Valentia Suite and The Abbey Suite. Both rooms are very different in terms of facade which allows clients the option of choosing either a more traditional style room, The Abbey Suite or a contemporary room The Valentia Suite.
The Valentia Suite
Our newly renovated Valentia Suite at Muckross Park Hotel caters for up to 350 delegates; this 3,000 suare feet, ground floor, conference room boasts natural daylight flooding into the room. The Valentia Suite offers flexible space for conferences, meetings, and gala dinners. The built-in partitions allow the room to be quickly divided into three sections which is ideal for breakout groups and exhibition space. The main area of the room offers great flexibility, it is unobstructed by any pillars, the access points are large enough to allow vehicular access points for car launches, and as an added bonus there is direct access to the main hotel lobby.
The Abbey Suite
This Abbey suite is named after the 17th century ecclesiastical Muckross Abbey which is located just a short stroll from Muckross Park hotel. The Abbey Suite is a unique meeting and conference space which has authentic interiors of impressive workmanship of dark wood features which were originally apart of an old church.
The Abbey Suite is the second largest meeting room space in our conference centre. The Abbey Suite has a floor space of 2,500 square feet which is ideal for meetings up to 180 delegates or alternatively to be utilised for exhibition space.
The Medieval Atrium
The Medieval Atrium is inspired by medieval architecture. This room was designed as an impressive and spacious reception room leading onto the Abbey Suite conference centre. The Atrium is steeped in natural daylight with floor to ceiling windows and an open fire. On entering the Atrium, it is resplendent with imitation tapestries and furniture from the 16th Century.
The Medieval Atrium is situated in the heart of the hotel it is the perfect location for a breakout space or alternatively a pre drink reception or barbeque. With wonderful views overlooking the hotels lawns this elegant room opens out on to a gorgeous sun terrace.
The Atrium offers 1,800 square metres of space which provides great flexibility, with ample room for refreshments for delegates to utilize during the networking break times.
The traditional style of The Skellig Suite at Muckross Park Hotel provides an impressive and comfortable setting for meetings of up to 80 guests. This room is ideal for focused group meetings with natural daylight and fully equipped for your business needs.
The Bourne Vincent
The Bourne Vincent is an elegant private dining room located in the original house of the main building which dates back to 1795. Its elegant and historic surrounds is the perfect location for an intimate gathering, private meeting, board meeting or dinner for up to 30 guests. Our bespoke menus have been designed by our culinary team who are passionate about delivering excellence service and cuisine.
