Garrett Power is the Managing Director of Muckross Park Hotel & Spa, a role he assumed in January 2026 following his appointment as General Manager in June 2022. Since joining the business, Garrett has provided strong and considered leadership, guiding the hotel through post-Covid recovery into a period of sustained success.

Under his direction, Muckross Park has achieved national and international recognition, including a place in TripAdvisor’s Top 10 Best of the Best Hotels in Ireland, the retention of AA Rosettes for culinary excellence, and multiple awards celebrating guest experience and accommodation standards. Garrett has also championed sustainability initiatives, leading to ISO 50001 certification for energy management and carbon reduction.

Known for fostering an inclusive leadership culture and developing talent from within, he is deeply engaged with the wider hospitality sector and local community, and currently serves as Chair of the Kerry Branch of the Irish Hotels Federation.
