Here are some frequently asked questions about self-catering in The Reserve at Muckross Park

Q. I have booked self-catering, what does this include?

A. Self-catering includes a 2 bedroom apartment and the facilities to prepare your own meals. Your may dine in the hotel for breakfast, lunch or dinner at an additional cost.

Q. Can I use the Spa at Muckross during my stay?

A. All adult guests over the age of 18 have complimentary access to The Spa at Muckross. There is a choice of thermal suite amenities to choose from including a large vitality   pool and outdoor hot tub. Children are not permitted in the spa or to use the pool.

Q. How can I book a spa treatment?

Treatments are available to reserve, we suggest early booking to find your preferred treatment time. You may book a treatment by calling 064 6623456 or email spa@muckrosspark.com

Q. Is there WiFi and parking?

Yes, there is free WiFi internet and free car parking at The Reserve.

Q. Is there 24 reception, what happens if I arrive late in the evening?

A. Guests check in at hotel reception and will be assisted from this point. The reception desk is 24 hours so guests can check in later in the evening.

Q. Is everything supplied in our apartment such as bed linen, kitchen utensils, delph?

A. The self-catering apartments have all essential items supplied including bed linen, towels, full kitchen equipment including delph, cutlery, glasses, pots, pans and cooking implements. Even a cork screw! If you do require anything just dial '0' for reception and assistance.

Q. Are there any extra costs with the apartment such as water charges, electricity, parking costs?

A. There are no additional charges, all utilities are included. Any additional cost items are at the descretion of the guest.

Q. How many guests can stay in an apartment?

A. There is a maximum of 5 guests per apartment for health and safety reasons.

Q. How often are the apartments serviced or cleaned?

A. Apartments are serviced every 3 days, if you require assistance with more towels or supplies dial '0' for reception.

Q. Are pets permitted to stay in the apartments?

A. Small pets are permitted to stay and must be booked in advance. There is a charge of €35 per night and terms & conditions apply.

Q. We are travelling with a baby, are cots supplied?

A. Yes, a cot can be provided free of charge. Please notify us in advance.

Q. Are there lifts in the apartments?

A. No, there are staircases between each floor. We are happy to assist with luggage or moving anything heavy / large for you.

Q. What about laundry? Is there somewhere we can do laundry?

A. We offer a same day laundry service at an external launderette. Laundry can be collected in the morning from your apartment and will return that evening, an additional cost applies.
