The package is based on the philosophy of Dr. Perricone a Yale University dermatologist and anti aging expert. In the course of his research into ageing he formulated creams that produced such good results and were so popular that he decided to develop his own range of cosmeceuticals. Since then it has enjoyed world wide distribution and has established cult status.
Now for the first time in Dr. Perricone’s products are available in Ireland here at the Cloisters Spa at the Muckross Park Hotel. We are not only providing the Perricone skin care range and treatments but also we are incorporating the lifestyle plan to our Hotel breaks. Come and experience a results driven 3 day plan, a simple inside out philosophy, where we combine a 3 day diet plan with spa treatments with special “face changing” foods which can visibly alter the way you look, in just seventy two hours.
Should you choose to come and stay on a Dr. Perricone break all of your meals for the three days are included and will be guided by the Dr. Perricone diet.

Day 1
UV Camera consultation – 20mins/30mins
An opportunity to let you see what you can’t see in the mirror! An accurate skin diagnosis is carried out using the Visnu Dermatology UV Colour Camera to detect a number of skin conditions that are not visible to the naked eye. A Skin Fitness Prescription and professional treatment solution package is tailor made to your skins needs. A second photograph will be taken upon departure to show the visible changes in your skin over the three days.
Lunch / dinner
Day 2
Prescriptive Facial
Your therapist will advise of the best facial for your skin based upon your consultation with the UV camera. The prescription facial may focus on a number of areas including nourishment, purity, radiance, anti-aging, dehydrated skin or skin losing firmness. Spend some time on our thermal area before lunch.
Lunch
Enjoy lunch in the tranquility of the Spa Café which overlooks the Cloisters Spa garden. Watch the Blue Pool River lazily meandering along as you sample a light lunch from the Dr. Perricone menu.In the afternoon you may choose to have a Fitness or Yog-Ayam session with Ram, our resident expert. This one to one session will focus on health and strength of the body and may serve as an introduction to beginners or to further develop your skills and abilities with Ram’s guidance and experience.
Day 3
Begin the day with another session of Yoga followed by a Lomi Lomi Massage, a sacred Hawaiian massage that takes place in the monastic style temple of the Cloisters Spa. The experience is called Lomi of the breaking waves and echoes the movements of gentle waves, the recipient could almost believe that they are lying in the sun being caressed by the warm waters of the Pacific. During your free time throughout your stay you may choose to explore the magnificent National Park. Our location is perfectly placed amidst the wonderful Killarney scenery. Complete your relaxing break by strolling along the Blue Pool River or the famous Killarney Lakes, take in the view from Torc Waterfall or simply wander along the many marked paths throughout the parks, particularly splendid in summer when the bluebells are in bloom.
