One of Ireland’s most spectacular locations, Killarney National Park prides itself on its 25,000 acres of pure unimpaired and natural lakes, mountains and forests. The Park was created in 1932 when the Vincent Family donated their estate to the people of Ireland.

There are many attractions within Killarney National Park including;
Dinis Cottage
Knockreer House and Demesne
Innisfallen Island
Ladies View
Molls Gap
The Meeting of the Waters
Old Weird Bridge
Muckross Abbey
Torc Waterfall
O’Sullivan’s Cascade
Muckross House and Traditional Farms

All activities are a great day out for the family. With the complimentary bike hire that comes as part of your stay, you can explore this spectacular area with ease.

Closer to Killarney Town you can discover Ross Castle, a 15th Century Castle nestled on the banks of the lakes, which is open for all to explore. Walking is also very popular with a network of paths leading into Knockreer, Muckross and Ross Island. The Park is home to indigenous Wild Red Deer and Sika Deer from Japan.

Fancy a view from the lakes? Boat Trips to the lakes are available at Ross Castle. Guests can take an open-top boat or water bus around the lakes and to Innisfallen Ireland.
