Co. Kerry has hundreds of miles of coastline, ideal for boating, surfing and sea fun. Enjoy the many beaches as to offer including Rossbeigh, Inch, Ballybunion and Ballyheigue.
Cycling and walking routes are easily found with the Kerry Way Route or simply venture in to Killarney National Park. Explore the lake area, take a boat out to Innisfallen island and enjoy a picnic or cycle the main routes through the park.
Families can also enjoy well known attractions such as the Aqua Dome in Tralee with its' water slides and fun. Visit the nearby Tralee Bay Wetlands Centre and learn about the wildlife and flora that exist in this unqiue bay area.
In Castleisland visit Crag Cave and learn about this underground wonderland and see stalactites and stalagmites. Later, enjoy the Crazy Cave indoor play area.
Horse riding is very popular with families and the Kerry is ideal for trekking. Killarney Riding Stable, Muckross Riding Stable and Dingle Horse Riding all have pony trekking for hire.
Other family fun visits include Skellig Chocolates in Ballinskelligs or Lorge Choclatier in Bonane, near Kenmare. While in Kenmare Star Outdoors offer sailing and boating fun exploring Kenmare Bay.
